All,
as per the suggestion on jython.org -- saying problems with 
installation should be reported to this mailing list -- here you go: on 
the "copy files" phase, nothing happens. I ran the installer on a 
windows machine and found the copy files phase to work... a button 
triggered the copying of files and it worked. On my mac I saw nothing 
but the label "Copy Files".
