RE: [Jython-users] jython and excel
Greetings!
For a few months now, I have been doing some side experimentation with
Swing. I have come up with a Python and Java IDE that I call Jydle, kind
of a Jythonized pun on IDLE, the IDE that comes with CPython.
Jydle is in the very early, "works for me" stages, but it may not work for
anyone else, something I'm interested in determining. I have created a
sourceforge project for it and will be doing a lot of uploads and bugfixes
over the next month or so, expect SF access within a copule of weeks.
Jydle is "funware", it has been fun working on and I intend to improve it
a lot. Anyone interested in helping me out, particularly with
translations of the interface into other languages, please email at my
michel@[...].net and we'll discuss check-in privledges.
I develop Jydle against Jython 2.1 and Java 1.4.1 (1.4+ is required). You
can download it from:
http://mwp.freezope.org/Jydle0.9.tgz
Again I'm very interested in any feedback, suggestions, and volunteers.
Thanks!
-Michel
