PDK 8 OS X from windows

perlctrl - Component Object Model (COM) Development on Mac OS X
You'll need to use ActivePerl 5.8.8.825 or later to cross-build for OS X (or 5.10.0.1004 and
later if you want to switch to Perl
5.10). PerlApp will always request the same build number as the local ActivePerl for the ta
rget Perl download, and 825 is the first
version that is available in a download format that PerlApp can decode (earlier versions are
all in the OS X specific "Disk Image"
format that can only be used on OS X itself).

Subject: PDK 8 OS X from windows
Greetings Pdk,
I just downloaded a trial version of PDK8 withe the goal of making executables for Mac OS X
from my windows machine. If I select a
target other than windows I get a warning that no Perl 5.8 exists for that OS and that it wi
ll be downloaded when "make exe" is
selected. If I choose linux, it does in fact begin a download but selecting OS X does not in
itiate an download and the exe creation
process terminates with an error
"no mac OSX/5.8 build 822 at ..."
any ideas?
