Hello all,
I have some questions concerning Tcl/Tk version 8.5 and was wondering if
you could help me out.
I am working on a project where we use C++ and Tcl/Tk code, we rely
heavily on Tk for implementing our GUI. We are considering upgrading
from 8.4 to 8.5 but I realized that 8.5 has not been released yet. Here
are my concerns about that:

*	I have read that 8.5 will be released in 2007, Is it safe to
assume that the release will come out this year? Are you planning the
release at the end of the year?
*	Is it ok for us to release our project with Tcl 8.5 while it is
still in Beta?
*	I have also heard that no more changes will be made to the
release just bug fixes and stabilization. Is that correct?
*	Do you know of people using the new version in major projects?
*	The themed Tk package is quite attractive and we are seriously
considering it, but there are some concerns about mismatching looks for
different parts of the tool (as Themed Tk does not implement any Mega
widgets and thus we will still have to use another widget package like
BWidget or maybe IWidget). Do you think I should be worried about that?
