The most likely candidate for interrupting would be anit-virus/firewall software. I'd try sh
utting all that down before your next installation attempt. (Make sure you're not connected 
to the Internet, first.)  Don't forget XP's built in protection.

whenever i try to install the latest Activestate Python on WinXP SP2, it gives me error sayi

"The wizard was interrupted before Activestate 2.4.2 could be completely installed. Your sys
tem has not been modified ....." 
any ideas why this is going on?
