=======================================
PerlEx is a high performance application server that executes
Perl on Windows-based Web servers up to 48x faster than
traditional CGI.
New in PerlEx 2.3
* ActivePerl 5.8 is now supported. To avoid bugs in earlier
ActivePerl 5.8 releases, please install ActivePerl 5.8.0.805
or later. Note that ActivePerl version 5.6.1.633 and later
continue to remain supported.
Bug Fixes and Other Improvements
* Running code that created sockets under PerlEx in conjunction
with ActivePerl 5.6.1.632 or 5.6.1.633 could produce spurious
file and socket open failures that often manifested as
failure to locate or load common modules. This problem has
been corrected.
* For better compatibility with the CGI spec, the size limit
on HTTP header data has been increased to 4KB.
* Various minor documentation fixes are included.
PerlEx is $395 per CPU. The 2.3 release is a free upgrade for
existing customers.
