Gurusamy Sarathy, Senior Developer, ActiveState
 
Sarathy has been heavily involved in maintaining the 
mainstream releases of Perl for the past seven years, and
served as the Release Manager for Perl 5.005 and 5.6.

At ActiveState, he is responsible for managing the adoption, 
growth and development of core language technologies. A
fundamental contributor in shaping ActiveState's overall 
technology vision, Sarathy is also a mentor on the evolution 
of world-class programming language skills in the company.
