Dr. John Graham-Cumming, Research Director,
ActiveState Anti-Spam Task Force 

As Research Director on ActiveState's Anti-Spam Task Force, Dr. John 
Graham-Cumming applies innovative email classification and learning 
techniques to ActiveState's enterprise email filtering software, 
PureMessage. 

In 2002, John created POPFile, the popular open source email 
classification and anti-spam software, which InternetWeek has described 
as having "the truly revolutionary feel of the first web browsers and 
instant message clients." 

John holds a BA and MA in Mathematics and Computation and a Doctorate 
in Computer Security from Oxford University.
