Re: [Anygui-devel] 90% working GTK2 backend | Re: [Anygui-devel] anygui 0.1.1 distribution package
Hi guys,

After a couple of days of intense brainstorming over which module to use for my Python GUIs,
I stumbled across anygui. Wonderful idea... and it even looks like some people are using i
t with success.

May I suggest that you replace the 0.1.1 package (dated Feb. 7th, 2002) you've uploaded into
Sourceforge with the one you offer in your anygui.sourceforge.net/download.php page of nigh
tly snapshots from the cvs?

Both have the same version number (as specified in file 'VERSION.TXT'), but the older packag
e cannot even be imported into my Python environment. I tried with the rpm and the tar.gz f
iles. Python will simply not import whatever was installed from those files. By the way, I
'm using Python 2.2.1 on Red Hat Linux 8.0

Thanks a lot!
Andres
