[Expect] Expect recieve EOF when working with Tectia | [Expect] Lastweek Reminder: CFP - NetWare 2009 [SENSORCOMM, SECURWARE, DEPEND, AFIN, MESH] / Athens-Vouliagmeni]
Hi,

I have a script that uses Expect 5.8.7 with TCL and plink.exe (version
0.59) to connect to a Tectia server on RHEL 5 via SSH protocol.

My script login successfully but when I it tries to change a password
for a user (passwd command) it receive EOF.

I noticed that changing the order of the prompts or "playing" with the
send rate helps to deal with this problem.

When I am performing the same scenario manually with plink everything
goes smoothly.

It seems as if the Tectia server has problems with except and it close
the connection.

Does anyone encountered this problem and know the reasons and how to fix
it?

Thanks,

Yaron
