I will make a few statements on this, though other original EXSLT 
creator and contributors may have another opinion;

* IMHO copyright is owned by Jeni Tennison, Uche Ogbuji, Dave Pawson, 
Jim Fuller and whomever else directly contributed to the project

* a cleaned up version of EXSLT needs to be released under an open 
source license

Uche, Jeni, David....do we want to have a conversation on license ?
