[exslt] Exslt Date Functions

Re: [exslt] EXSLT functions Developers' guide? | [exslt] Exslt Date Functions
& XSLT Hi there,

I am currently working with exslt date functions and wonder if you can help
me out with a query.

I would like to display a date as "26th June 2007", but I cannot see a way
to achieve the suffix on the day with exslt, is this correct?

I have looked at the format-date function which uses the Java
SimpleDateFormat class, but don't think suffixing the day (IE: 1st, 14th,
23rd) is supported. Can anybody confirm this please?

It is simple enough to write a template to implement this functionality. I
am just wondering if it is supported in exslt already, and if not, is it
something that is worth considering support for? I would be happy to have a
go at submitting a function.

Many thanks,

Matt Haynes
