Initial Comment:
there seems to be a new directory called 'itclng' in the itcl-ng branch which contains a who
le nother copy of itself.  Something is wrong with the file layout.

Please consult with Arnulf about what he is trying to accomplish.  I had to delete it after 
a 'cvs export' prior to doing an import into Tcl's repository.
