Preview ActiveState Komodo 3.5 Beta for Mac OS X with Ruby Support -- and Win!

ActiveState Launches Language Distributions on Mac OS X -- Komodo coming soon!
Hi Everyone,
I'm pleased to announce the immediate availability of our first alpha
Release of Komodo on OS X. Komodo 3.X runs on OS X 10.3 and 10.4, and
is G4 optimized. This release is based on the Komodo 3.1 code and has
no new functionality other than the addition of Ruby debugging. Ruby
debugging support is very new, and will be added to the other platforms
once we have stabilized Komodo on OS X.
Another change in the Komodo code base is that we have moved from using
the Mozilla 1.7 code to using the Firefox 1.0.x code. We've also
finished porting Scintilla to OS X, and that port will be made available
in the near future through the Scintilla repository on Sourceforge.
If you are one of the many developers on Mac OS X go ahead and put this
alpha release through its paces. Send us your bug reports and join the
discussion list. We'd love to fine-tune Komodo 3.X for release later
this year.
We'll be using the komodo-beta email list for discussion of the OS X
port. If you are on that list and do not wish to receive emails about
the OS X alpha's and beta's, you can unsubscribe from the email list via
