Last week at RailsConf in Portland, ActiveState released Komodo 4.1, our

Check out some of the new features and improvements of Komodo 4.1:

    * Support for debugging Rails controllers and views (RHTML templates)
    * Lightning-fast Ruby debugging that's 60 times faster!
    * One-click Ruby on Rails project template
    * Enhanced Ruby, Rails, PHP, JavaScript and HTML autocompletion
    * Komodo JavaScript API documentation
    * Rails project tutorial
    * JavaScript tutorial

We've already received great feedback from users. Here's a sample:

"Komodo IDE 4.1 is much faster for Ruby. Now I can debug and do
production runs within Komodo, and staying within one tool is a valuable
incremental simplification, particularly as my field, bioinformatics
research, involves a rapidly evolving set of scripts, flat files and
databases."
â??Gordon Robertson
BC Cancer Agency Genome Sciences Centre

"We started using Komodo for our hundreds of thousands of Perl code
lines. We love the fact that with Komodo IDE 4.1 we can also use it for
Ruby."
â??Balázs Nagy
Chief Architect, TheNewPush, LLC

For great detailed information about the development of the Ruby toolkit
in Komodo, check out Eric Promislow's blog:

We'll have screencasts and more soon, so stay tuned to the Komodo
Community Site:

Your feedback and input is always welcome. We hope you enjoy developing
Ruby on Rails apps in Komodo 4.1
