Hello,

The Komodo team have been nailing down the final fixes for the Komodo
4.3.0 release and are now are now pleased to announce the second beta
build. This is the last beta release before the final Komodo 4.3.0
release is made next week.

For the lazy, auto-update will kick in to automatically update from beta
1 sometime tomorrow (when we've updated the servers).


Significant changes in beta 2 since the beta 1 release
------------------------------------------------------

- support for rails 2 in the ruby on rails project template
- add support for all new perl 5.10 keywords
- new files use proper encoding and document preferences
- snippet insertion properly respects your indentation preferences
- additional snippet abbreviations included in the sample toolbox
- rails unit testing integration with the Unit Testing framework
- rails project template now allows you to select the supported database
- cvs and svn now work when the "recursive status checking" is enabled
- fix syntax checking from always reporting "in progress"
- fix xdebug binary crashing the php interpreter on windows vista
- xml files now retain their highlighting after a save-as operation


Please try the beta out and let us know of any errors or problems as
this is the last chance to get things fixed before the final 4.3.0
release is made.

Major 4.3 Features

The main highlights of the 4.3 release are:

- Unit testing integration. (Komodo IDE-only.)
- Source Code Control operations now work asynchronously.
- Large improvements to the Find system (including "Find in
Project", "Replace in Files", multi-line find/replace, a sleeker
Find/Replace dialog)
- Snippet abbreviations feature
