I'm a registered user of Komodo 2 and  testing Komodo beta 3 now:

Situation:
* Komodo 2.3 works fine.
* All versions later 2.3 don't work correctly. The symptoms are as follows:

1.) Komodo splash screen shows up as used ... and disappears
2.) Komodo GUI opens: Menubar, Toolbar and Statusbar are OK, Statusbar says
"ready"
3.) BUT: the GUI windows don't show - neither the project pane nor the start
page. The menubar works (i.e. I can select menu entries) but the selected
actions were not performed correctly (for example: File-> New File ...)
NOTHING HAPPENS (for a LONG time)  - Komodo stays in this state ...
4.) Closing Komodo says: Error in komodow.exe - Komodo terminated before it
completed starting

I'm running WinNT4.0 SP6a, Mozilla 1.7, ActivePerl 5.8.4
I think it's a special problem with my personal system configuration - I
tried it on other computers here around and the versions > 2.3 worked (didn't
test it with 3.0 yet ...)

Any idea what to do or where to look? I reported this behaviour earlier to
ActiveState as an error, and got the advice to keep sticked with the working
version 2.3. This isn't a real solution, since I want to benefit from the
new features ...
