It's probably that fraction of a second that Vitor is talking about. It
makes the difference between being able to hold down an arrow key and watch
the line number in real time (a feature I use in VS.NET all the time) or
not.

I understand it's a Mozilla performance limitation (as noted on the bug
report I filed on this), but it would sure be nice if there were a way to
get the line and column numbers to update in real time. Maybe revisit it for
a future release... :-)
