Folding in Komodo is controlled by the language-specific lexers that are
part of the Scintilla project (http://www.scintilla.org/) on which
Komodo's editing component is based. I would encourage you to bring up
your thoughts on Scintilla's discussion list, and if you are quite keen,
get involved in specifying and effecting changes to how folding works.
