I had a look at the reference site, and it looks very straightforward.

Have you had a look at Komodo's UDL system for adding new languages
to Komodo? It's documented in the help section of the Komodo 4.0
docs:

http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/docs/Komodo/4.0/komodo-doc-udl.html

http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/docs/Komodo/4.0/komodo-doc-luddite.html

There's a tutorial for adding a language at

http://blogs.activestate.com/ericp/2007/01/kid_adding_a_ne.html

The tutorial uses Kid as an example, but HAML wouldn't be too
hard. You'd need to replace the standard htmllex.udl module
used by RHTML, Kid, Mason, and other common templating languages,
but it wouldn't be too hard.

I've added a bug at http://bugs.activestate.com/show_bug.cgi?id=66215
but we'd be happy if you prefer not to wait for ActiveState to
ship the extension.
