There are a couple of potential issues here:
1. we have a known issue with older versions of Red Hat systems
2. Centos 4 systems require the libcpp5 build
3. for me, running Komodo over X11 on Fedora Core 6 works fine. I am
using Ubuntu 6.10 as my desktop, and logging into the remote machine
with the -Y option.
