It looks as though we missed a setting in the MSI installer for 4.4
Alpha 1. This didn't show up in our testing, but we'll try to
reproduce this and make sure the installer for Alpha 2 doesn't have
this problem.

For now (as mentioned previously) the work-around is to (re)install
the Alpha in a fresh directory. If you ever need to roll back to an
older version, they're all available here:

 ftp://downloads.activestate.com/Komodo/releases/
