Re: [Komodo-beta] shortcut to function selector?
Clicking on the line number in the status bar might work.
Regardless, I'd like the overload of "Ctrl-G" as the "Goto" button. Maybe
preselect whatever function name the cursor is on (if any). Type a number,
it goes to that line, type a letter, it acts like the section widget.
This dialog could become more powerful too, a bit like the google bar:
- type a number, it goes to that line
- type a function name, it goes to the definition, if it's not in the
current file, it tries to find it
- type file name, it opens it
- allow user command (stuff in the toolbox)
Do smart complete, show the most likely completions, as the user types.
As it is, I almost never use the toolbox, because I have it hidden to save
real-estate. Maybe if I could access it without losing 3 inches of screen,
it would become more useful.
Maybe I'm going overboard :)
