Re: [Komodo-beta] Changes to the Komodo User Guide
Now that Komodo 4.4 is out the door, I'll have a bit of time to focus on
larger-scale changes to the Komodo documentation (aka the Komodo User
Guide).
I've had my head in the User Guide for so long now that I often don't
see the difficulties and annoyances that a new user might notice. So,
rather than just starting to rewrite and reorganize the parts that *I*
think need work, I thought I'd ask all of you what you think could be
done to make the documentation better.
Here are a few things I have in mind:
Some small tutorials on newer features like unit testing,
abbreviations, replace in files, change lists, etc.
A couple of larger tutorials featuring a web frameworks. We've got
one for Rails, perhaps it's time for Drupal and Django tutorials?
Reorganizing the table of contents (mostly to move some less important
items out of the very large top level) and moving some content to
more intuitive locations (preferences for a feature on the page that
describes the feature).
Thoughts? Suggestions?
