Confirmed.

Could you add a bug for this please?

Note that some of the multiline vs. single-line problems will be easier 
to fix in Komodo 5 when we move to the Firefox 3 code base so I can use 
this attribute on the "Find what" textbox:
   http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/XUL:Attribute:newlines

However, fixing your particular bug shouldn't need that "newlines" 
attribute.
