Hi Martin,

The remote file settings are designed to automatically upgrade (along 
with other preferences) when using a newer Komodo version.

Upgrading from Komodo 4.4 to 5.0 for example will upgrade the following 
profile files from the 4.4 directory into the 5.0 directory:
   .../4.4/host-HOSTNAME/XRE/key3.db
   .../4.4/host-HOSTNAME/XRE/cert8.db
   .../4.4/host-HOSTNAME/XRE/secmod.db
   .../4.4/host-HOSTNAME/XRE/signons2.txt

Does your Komodo 5.0 profile contain these upgraded files? By the way, 
which OS and which versions of Komodo are you upgrading from/to?
