Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test this. I did re-enable the 
feature, but since then the problem hasn't re-occurred, neither before I 
updated to beta1 nor afterwards.

The problem was always intermittent, so it's possible that it's still 
around, and I just haven't been bitten by it again yet. It's also 
possible that the bug was fixed in beta1.

I'll keep my eye out and report back if it happens again.
