Granted that the need to <Tab> twice is annoying and I'm happy to work
on a fix for this. Please see me comments on the above bug.
However, there was a reason this was done: feedback from some users
indicated that the "Replace" checkbox in the lower row to twiddle the UI
(i.e. collapsed/uncollapsed stuff) didn't fit with the other checkboxes
there and that it would be less confusing to have the "Replace" textbox
always there, just disabled instead of collapsed.
On Windows, at least, this visually works out alright. I was a little
disappointed to see that the default widget styling on Mac OS X and on
the Linuxes that I saw, that the disabled textbox doesn't actually
appear that disabled.
I feel that the "Replace" checkbox where it is is a good place
*visually*. However, I agree that it is a problem because of the tabbing.
