Re: [Komodo-discuss] external diff | [Komodo-discuss] Komodo error opening PDK tools
Hi,

I am using Komodo IDE, version 5.1.3, build 28369, (trial version) on platform linux-libcpp6
-x86. I am trying to get my head around a complex project consisting of 3806 source files of
C and TCL type. A client server socket application, all console, no widgets.

I created a new project and browsed to the directory containing the source files (contains s
ubdirectories). I selected 'Live directory'. I was hoping that the komodo ide would help me
to answer things quickly, like where is this method or variable declared/defined/called-from
within ALL the files that make up the project.... but nothing of that seems to work. I am n
ew to Komodo and have previously used a lot of JBuilder and Visual Studio 2005 for Java and
C++ dev, respectively, but Komodo does not seem to provide any of the stuff I am used to...

Am I missing something major here? If not I would be very disappointed....

The project file *.kpf is about 9kb large - does that sound reasonable for a large project?

Any help welcome!
Nir
