You'll also need Apple's cctools, which may be painful.

And there are lots of other better-supported FOSS software
distributions (especially when it comes to x86 hardware support - the
only even remotely viable reason for using Darwin on PPC would have
been that it pretty much booted on most Macs without any issues
whatsoever, but that's even been true of some Linux distros for quite
a while). So why Darwin?
