this seems to work, thanks.

now i'm having problems with perlapp. i'm trying to compile a script  
using 'perlapp --dependent --exe foo.bin foo' but i get the following  
error message:

'foo' had compilation errors.

being a novice with the PDK i would approciate any advice or pointers  
on debugging and fixing the actual cause for this error.
