RE: shared objects for modules with two-component names in PDK 7.1 | Define a error handler for a module
ActiveState is pleased to announce the release of Perl Dev Kit 7.1,
the essential tool suite for Perl developers that facilitates the
creation and deployment of professional Perl applications.

ActiveState Perl Dev Kit 7.1 now supports ActivePerl 5.6, 5.8 and 5.10.

In addition we have addressed some other issues, like adding support
for Mac OS X 10.5. Read all the details here:

    http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/docs/PDK/7.1/Release.html

For general information about the Perl Dev Kit please check out:

    http://www.activestate.com/pdk

PDK 7.1 is a free update for all users with a PDK 7.0 license, or a
current ActivePerl Pro Studio subscription. Please login to your
ActiveState account to download the new software:

Please note: PerlNET is not included in the PDK 7.1 release. We are
working on fixing some compatibility issues with the latest Microsoft
updates and will release it in an upcoming PDK 7.2 release. (For PDK
7.x license holders, it will be another free update, of course.)

Enjoy!

The PDK Team, ActiveState
