There is currently no mechanism to do this. The standard balloons
provided by the taskbar notification system don't provide this
facility until shell32.dll version 6.0 (Windows XP and Vista; not sure
about 2003).

Even there the documentation is somewhat ambiguous:

| NIN_BALLOONUSERCLICK. Sent when the balloon is dismissed because the user clicked the mous
e.

It is not clear if you have to click the balloon, or if *any* mouseclick will
generate this callback.

Feel free to file an enhancement request in the bug database if you think
this should be considered for future PerlTray releases.
