Re: [PEAR-DEV] proposal, Services_Blogs | Re: [PEAR-DEV] PEAR_PackageFileManager User Guide and Tutorial
Hi all,

One week ago, I've released the first stable version 1.6.0 of
PEAR_PackageFileManager that manage package xml 2.0

I've also removed me from active maintainers list of this package, and
decided to removed the User Guide - Tutorial from my web space [1], as
asked by some guys who want it in PEAR manual.

I'm not against this solution, but until now it seems that my work was
forgotten on all memories ;-)

Collaboration to help me to include my work on PEAR doc CVS, was just a
  Word !
I don't see lot of guys help me on this task, and none windows user
guide exists. It's the main reason (for me ) why so few people give a
package documentation in DockBook format.

So my decision (one week ago) was to let available DocBook source code
[2] on my web server.

Yesterday, I've solved a problem with PHP source code highlighted and
DocBook source code.

Christian Weiske suggested me to let native source between
<programlisting> tags rather than use my XSLT solution with HTML code
inclusion.

Now I've finalized the PHP process that replace all source code between
<programlisting role="php"> or <programlisting role="xml"> tags with
their GeShi [3] results

I've also completed the PHP process that give HTML source code more
readable and valid with Tidy 2.0 extension under PHP 5.

I'll then release a fresh source code version [2] in next hours, just in
case some want to reuse it for PEAR Manual integration.

Until PEAR Manual integration become a reality, I'll put again an online
version and some download formats on my web server.

Hope that all guys that are against, will understand this point of view.
I promise to remove it as soon as I'll see a copy in PEAR manual.

regards
Laurent
