Nut no, as the POD says, it is not meant to be fast, it is meant
to be illustrative - so bench-marking it is pointless.
I'm considering making my first essay into XS with this one, for
speed, but it's been 12 months since I even LOOKED at C, and
two years since I programed it, but I currently have all the time
in the world, so ... maybe there'll be a faster one one day.
