Andy Wardley has been rumoured to be about to release XML::Schema for
about 18 months. Last time I heard of him on that topic was in august,
but there has been no release since.

I certainly do not at all intend to blame Andy -- this being open
source, someone not having time to finish something is definitely not to
blame -- but XML Schema is leaking into pretty much everything and if we
don't have an implementation (that can do more than just validation)
we're in trouble.

I don't have much time to code, but I do have the source to two XML
Schema implementations (in Java), both of which I understand (even
though neither are validators).

But of course I'd very much prefer to have Andy's version, especially as
an old version that had escaped a year ago had very interesting
approaches IIRC. If someone here sees him, could we arrange something
involving lots of alcohol and a floppy?
