Q: XML::XPath, node_global_pos ?

creating a XML doc | Looking for simple example for parsing a XML-file
& XSLT $VERSION = '1.13'; the most recent copy on cpan.

The XML::XPath::XMLParser tree includes a field called `node_global_pos'.

Does anyone know what its purpose is? It doesn't appear to be usefully
used anywhere, and the value doesn't appear to have much meaning within
the node tree data structure.

Thanks for any feedback.
