Great. Please, take a look at this patch for PurePerl, it covers C1 and 
C3 from http://perl-xml.sourceforge.net/perl-sax/changes-2.1.html. The 
diff is against v0.12 as I don't know how to access the CVS.

I will also suggest few changes for XML::SAX::Base if you consider a new 
release.
