& XSLT I think it's not a problem to add a sentence like:
"Each hash reference passed as argument to a handler method MUST contain
all properties listed for the method in this document, failing which the
event stream is not conforming the Perl SAX API. On the contrary, the
hash references MAY contain additional properties without loss of
conformance."
