Re: XML under ActiveState Perl for 64-bit Windows
& XSLT I thought I had made my choice ... use XML::LibXML. But, I can't even
begin to get it built for my platform. Does anybody have it for the
current ActiveState Perl built for 64-bit Windows (AMD64), and willing
to share?
Otherwise, what are my options? I read that XML::Parser and it's DOM
module is obsolete. But at least Parser comes with the Perl
installation.
XML::Simple is intriguing, but too simple. If only it was designed to
be a bit more flexible, with choices based not on the unqualified key
name alone but with a more specific place in the tree, and the ability
to handle "mixed" content on occasion, etc.
But I'm also interested in writing XML out sometimes. I'd like one
thing to learn and use everywhere.
Any suggestions?
