Hi all,

I think it's time we had a beta release. We're at 94.01% overall
coverage (including the Scintilla and SourceView extensions) [1]; and
have a significant number of new features/extensions since the alpha
release; most importantly custom Tree models.

However, before we go about it, we'll have to decide on whether to
include the following:

1) 2.8/2.10 Support. Elizabeth has provided patches for this, and the
build system will automatically build the latest version found on the
system. I've extended this to work on Linux and OSX.

2) The GtkHTML3 and libsexy extensions.

3) Installers for Win32 and OSX. I have one ready for OSX. If
Elizabeth/Steph can get around to making one for Windows in a reasonable
time-frame, we can include that in Beta.

4) Move to native Scintilla (Tom's Scintilla) instead of GtkScintilla.
This one's on me and I'll get around to it soon enough.

Please pitch in with your comments. The quicker we come to a consensus
on the 4 points, the better :)
