is not in http://www.php.net/manual/en/
These methods are visible in the oci8.c file in CVS,
http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.oci-new-descriptor.php
OCI-Lob-> savefile is also used in Example 1 of
http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.oci-new-descriptor.php
