Re: Can't get ppm to install anything
Here's the output
Describing Active Repository 1:
Name: ActiveState PPM2 Repository
Location: http://ppm.ActiveState.com/cgibin/PPM/ppmserver.pl?urn:/PPMServer
Type: PPMServer 2.0
But when trying again to install
ppm> install String-Approx
Error: no suitable installation target found for package
String-Approx.
So I learned that I can't just type 'ppm' from anyDirectory in a Dos-Shell
only
1. 'ppm.bat' from anyDirectory in a Dos-Shell
or 2. 'ppm' from my Start-Menu
Cheers,
Armin

What are your configured repositories? That is, what is the output of
running the following command:
> ppm rep desc
