Re: Can't get ppm to install anything - One Step ahead
Hi,
setting the other Repositories inactive is working.
Then I get search results. Installing is working (only !) when
I downloaded the .zip Files and extracted them on my hard-disk before.
Is that the only possible way? I thought that downloading would
not be necessary and installing directly from the ActiveState's Rep.
would be possible.
So thanks for helping
Armin

Can you make the PPM3 repository be the only active repository, and then
try installing the module? That is:
ppm> rep off ActiveState PPM2 Repository
ppm> rep off REP_58XX
So that, when you do:
ppm> rep
You see:
Repositories:
[1] ActiveState Package Repository
Hope this helps,
TJ
