[Pythoncard-users] New wxMac Binary Runs PyCrust
Inspired by a new service at http://www.xmethods.net/ I've spent a
couple of pleasurable hours playing around with SOAP this morning and
whilst I was at it I thought I would expand the conversions sample in
PythonCard.
I am pleased to announce that in addition to conversions to Morse code
and between Centigrade and Fahrenheit the sample now also performs
currency conversions. In this initial form it will only convert between
Australian and US dollars though. I thought I would leave expansion of
the available currencies as an exercise for someone else ;-)
The actual code is a blatant rip-off of Kevin's work in the stockprice
sample, just adapted to use a slightly different SOAP service. More
details are in the readme.
This is now available from CVS and will be included in the next release
of the prototype.
Regards,
Andy
