#27608 [Csd->Opn]: mysql_free_result causes segfault with invalid result and exceptionerrorhandler | Re: [Pythonmac-SIG] What is pythonw?
Hi, all! I just joined the list, and am wondering about pythonw after
having seen several references to it in messages. I searched python.org
for that string, but it came up with thousands of hits, and none of the
first few dozen seemed to help much. I'm assuming it's a version of
Python for the Mac that allows the creation of GUI elements; is that
right? If so, it is native (to distinguish it from Tkinter)?

I've been having a blast with Python just running the default installed
version in the shell in 10.2.6, but I'd love to be able to make
double-clickable apps, so if there's a FAQ or other document you can
point me to, I'd appreciate it.

Cheers!
Dave
