Right, I see.  I'm not sure what the "state of the art" wrt xulrunner is
these days - that file was copied almost verbatim from instructions I found
on the wiki (or cloned from some other example, or something - I can't
recall exactly).  I'm confident that nothing in the example requires that
variable, so the solution may simply be to remove that line!  I'm not
currently in a position to test that out, but if it works for you, please
mention so in the bug and I'll address it when I return home.
Unfortunately, these days I may require prodding beyond simply adding me as
a CC to a bug - don't be bashful about sending me mail directly, even if I
need to respond that I'm too busy to look at things for a little while....
