Not long ago, I updated the tentative release calendar for Tcl/Tk 8.6
that's kept in TIP 311.  Due to the delays getting 8.5.2 and 8.4.19
out the door, and due to the change in the schedule for the 2008 Tcl
Conference, the proposed dates are now a bit later, and now labeled
as "approximate".

Current plan is to produce Tcl/Tk 8.6a1 for release around June 1.
That's sooner than you might think, and of course an alpha release
without new features doesn't make much sense, so I hope the recent
effort getting some TIPs through voting and implementing continues.
