Since you're asking ;-)
I would appreciate a review of 2001201 with GPS's patch. George and I
believe it is the rational way out of a whole family of nasty
exit+thread related bugs (filter by keyword "exit" on open bugs on
SF). The POV of the Thread extension would usefully complement this
core view.
