Just to be clear, using that tpj produced a non-functional demo, and/or the
one I provided wrapped by myself in the link was non-functional?

I'm just trying to reduce it down to perhaps either a PPC issue or some weird
local issue.  Our PPC Mac had to go into the shop, and I only have access to
intel Macs at the moment.
